A.G. “Chip” Chipman is president of Vantage Consulting Group, Inc., a Florida corporation, now operating from Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Vantage provides consulting and training to a wide variety of organizations and communities. In partnership with his wife, Jan, Chip has been bringing his Three Principles based, “In Service” human relations/communications message to organizations and communities throughout the world for over thirty years. 

Their work concentrates first on developing the strength, resilience and insight of the individual. This strengthening of the “links in the chain” has a profound impact on the quality of relationships, which is fundamental to achieving strong communications, teamwork and alignment. Vantage Consulting Group has helped countless leaders, executives, managers and their teams or constituents to find common vision, alignment, and a truly “In Service” approach to each other and the people they serve.

Jan Chipman is vice president of Vantage Consulting Group, and also provides consulting and training services to organizational teams and communities, as well as to individual executives, leaders and managers. With a varied background in business, education, healthcare and community settings, she brings a unique and insightful knowledge of human relations to the table. Jan is a highly effective executive and management coach, with excellent skills in one on one settings. She is a consummate listener who has helped many leaders and managers find clarity and understanding in their careers and professional relationships, as well as balance and happiness in their personal and family lives.

Although the Chipmans have primarily worked in the for-profit arena, their work has also included a host of services to not-for-profit organizations and teams, delivering training, board and staff retreats and ongoing consultation. From 2005 through 2008, they initiated and conducted programs aimed at leadership, staff and inmates of various corrections facilities and agencies in Florida.  The rapid and dramatic success of this work inspired them to gather and train a team of practitioners (including a number of successful former inmates) who helped them found a not-for-profit organization that has continued, expanded and developed these programs.
